Welcome to Student Employment at Bennington!
The Career Development and Field Work Term Office helps students find employment in the Bennington College community both on-campus and through the off-campus federal work-study program.
Our Mission
Our mission is to foster work-learning experiences, reflective practices, and competency development to prepare students for personal and professional success and to innovate and thrive in their work, communities, and lives. Beyond Field Work Term, student employment is a meaningful opportunity for student growth, and our aim is to maximize student learning through work.

Student Employment Policies
All student employment-related policies can be found in the Student Employment Handbook.

Federal Work Study and Campus Employment
Students are permitted to hold on-campus jobs regardless of financial aid status, although off-campus federal work-study positions are restricted to domestic students with federal work-study in their financial aid package. There are a wide variety of campus jobs, and many departments rely on student workers for critical functions in the daily operation of the College. The Student Employment Specialist helps students find campus jobs. If you have questions about your financial aid package, you can contact the Financial Aid Office.

Institutional Partners
The Student Employment Coordinator collaborates with all departments, offices, community partners, and students to provide a safe and educational work experience for all. The Student Employment Specialist also works closely with the Business Office, Human Resources, Payroll and Financial Aid to comply with all state and government regulations.
