Welcome, Students!

  Forms

In order for any student to work on campus, they must first complete federal I-9 and W4 forms and file them with the College.

Federal W4 Form

Vermont W4 Form

Note:  This tax form only needs to be filed once, the first time you are hired for a campus job. After that, you do not need to file it again unless you wish to make changes to your income tax withholdings, or unless the College contacts you to request a new copy.

I-9 Form

Note:  This federal form only needs to be filed once (the first time you are hired for a campus job).

Domestic Students

After being hired for a campus job and before beginning work, please bring copies of the I-9 and W4 form to an appointment with Ray Stevens, Student Employment Coordinator, in Barn 113. You will need to bring along original, unexpired copies of the identification documents mentioned on the I-9. Contact campusjobs@bennington.edu with any questions.

International Students

Contact Noel Volpi, Payroll Specialist, at nvolpi@bennington.edu or (802) 440-4362 for help with your forms, which will vary somewhat according to your home country and tax treaty status. International students who have applied for a Social Security card but have not received it yet can work on campus, but the College must hold your wages until the card arrives, at which point any backlogged wages will be paid out to you.
